Dear Parent/Legal Guardian:
The Youth & Family Staff of Arizona Youth Partnership will be presenting Relationship Smarts Plus. Relationship Smarts Plus is developed by The Dibble Institute and has been presented in schools and communities nationally as well as locally. Participants under 18 years of age must have parental consent to attend
Relationship Smarts Plus is an evidence-informed curriculum where young people learn more about themselves, including how their past has shaped their present and how to make decisions on what they want for their future. They learn what a healthy relationship consists of, while building a set of life skills, including evidence-based communication and conflict management, for developing and maintaining healthy relationships with friends, family and dating partners. A physical copy of the curriculum contents will be left in the front office at ODCS for review as desired.
Trusted adult connection activities offer conversation starters on healthy relationships to foster increased communication between youth and their parents/guardians.
