Through their generosity and care for youth mental health, American Woodmark Foundation made it possible for AZYP to host a Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Suicide Prevention Training.

Individuals trained in QPR learn to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. The training includes:

  • Myths and Facts about Suicide

  • Suicide Clues (verbal, behavioral, situational)

  • Risk factors

  • Tips on how to and how not to ask the Suicide Question

  • Practice scenarios
