I’m Jennifer M. Tersigni, Executive Director & Principal at Open Doors Community School. Open Doors is filled with teachers and staff who are committed to providing a warm and supportive learning environment for your children. Our team is committed to helping your children thrive, and our doors are open to everyone.

Education has always been near and dear to my heart, and I fully believe in lifelong learning, whether it be skill-building or degree-seeking. As a first-generation college graduate, myself, I know first-hand that a positive school experience is often a crucial first step toward a bright future, career opportunities and better life situations. Our teachers and staff take a mentoring approach that offers each individual child the support they need to flourish.

I began my career working as an associate teacher in special education classes and as a teaching assistant at the University of Arizona. In recent years, I’ve been a business owner and nonprofit executive, specializing in supporting organizations to transition and grow. Mostly, I’m passionate about helping Open Doors – and your child – thrive.
