Please join us for our first annual community event, “Marana Strong!”. This event focuses on providing an opportunity to showcase your business to the community.

Marana Prevention Alliance is a coalition focused on reducing and preventing youth substance use through education, collaboration, and engagement. Our vision is to connect and empower the Marana community to achieve a healthy lifestyle. We want to help businesses rebuild from the effects of COVID-19. This event is aimed to showcase businesses by setting up a table and promoting your business by passing out flyers, business cards, discount cards, etc. to people in the community. This year, our event will be a drive-thru where attendees will be given a bag and will be able to drive through the parking lot of Marana Middle School to go by each of the tables represented by businesses and get information.  This is where businesses will be able to pass out the materials, they would like to hand out.

Safety is a #1 priority for us. We have safety precautions for attendees and business representatives. These precautions will be required and enforced. All businesses will be required to wear a mask and highly encouraged for attendees in their own vehicle. Hand sanitizer will be at each table and to be used frequently. Masks will be handed out to participants who do not have one. All tables will be spread out at least 6 feet apart for safety.

The goal of this event is to increase awareness of locally owned Marana businesses and organizations, in the light of promoting community unity and to avoid the appearance of one candidate of another, we will not be permitting political campaigns to participate in this event.

Our event is a $10 registration fee and will be held outside. Materials required from business representatives are a table, chairs, and materials they want to hand out.
