Help Us Match $68,000 to Keep Providence Place Open
On September 29, 2026, the last day of our grant period, Arizona Youth Partnership learned that funding for Providence Place, our shelter for girls in Mohave County, would not continue. We've committed $68,000 of our own funds to keep the doors open, and now we're asking our community to match it. Together, $136,000 can keep Providence Place open for more than six months while we secure long-term funding. Every $685 keeps the shelter open for one day.

A desert story has come to life in AZYP's new Tucson office! Thanks to Vantage West Credit Union and Tucson artist Jessica Contreras, our community room now features a vibrant, folk-art mural of saguaros, roadrunners, javelinas, and more, painted by Jessica and Vantage West volunteers over five days. Arizona Youth Partnership Presents Innovative Maternal SUD Program at National Rx and Illicit Drug Summit in Nashville.
Arizona Youth Partnership (AZYP) presented its Linking Actions for Healthy Mothers and Babies (LAHMB) program at the 2026 Rx and Illicit Drug Summit in Nashville, TN. Directors Julie Craig and Charlene Becker highlighted the program's impact on pregnant mothers with SUD in Gila County, AZ — connecting 10 mothers with vital resources. The presentation drew widespread interest, with attendees asking about expanding LAHMB statewide and nationally.
