“Kid, you’ll move mountains! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So get on your way!” A well-known statement from Dr. Seuss, but many youth in Arizona suffer from economic, family and community concerns that make this statement of hope one that is far out of reach.
Arizona comes in 46th in overall child well-being, a rank lower than last year’s report. Findings show that the state ranks 43rd in economic well-being, 44th in education, 40th in healthcare and 46th in family and community. (2017 Arizona Kids Count)
Arizona Youth Partnership provides education and training to support rural youth and families so they can reach full potential in life. We work in 11 Arizona counties, in places like Kingman, Lakeside, Globe, Marana, Catalina, Sahuarita, Bullhead City and Ajo.
The staff and friends of Arizona Youth Partnership are proud to invite you to sponsor our 8th year Ragnar Relay Team to run in the Ragnar Relay on February 9-10, 2018. Our team theme this year is “Oh the Places You Will Go!” Ragnar, like Arizona Youth Partnership, requires a team approach to completing a daunting task, completing a 200 mile relay race! Our team is made up of 12 staff and friends of the organization, and each person runs 3 legs that range from 3-10 miles.
Our Ragnar Relay team is so committed that they are personally paying the costs associated with the race so that 100% of your sponsorship will go directly to Arizona Youth Partnership. Your generous sponsorship of any amount is immensely appreciated and every tax deductible charitable donation will go directly to support healthy youth and families across rural Arizona. All donations to Arizona Youth Partnership are also eligible for the Arizona Tax Credit.
